Package Overview
This promotion applies to Te Ara Timata Subdivision, Oakura, New Plymouth only
Deposit and Initial Commitment
- A 5% deposit is payable (calculated on the total house/land package price) upon signing the Sale and Purchase Agreement to secure the package.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- No payments until 19 January 2026.
Progress Milestones and Payments
- On 19th January 2026,
- At this milestone, the client will be invoiced for and works that are fully completed by this stage. This may include:
- Land acquisition
- Earthworks
- Foundation
- Framing
- Following this, standard progress payments will apply as per the payment schedule details in the sale and purchase agreement.
Builder’s Terms and Financing
- Barrett Homes Taranaki Ltd will secure builder’s terms for the land and will cover the cost of any works initiated prior to 19 January.
Timeline Expectations
- Upon signing, the following indicative timeline applies:
- 3 weeks: Planning discussions and contract preparation
- 4 weeks: Design phase
- 4 weeks: Consent and approvals
- Note: Progress may be delayed due to the holiday shutdown period (mid-December to early January).
Turnkey and Spec Builds
These terms do not affect BH Taranaki’s ability to deliver turnkey or spec builds. Availability remains unaffected.
